| In North Carolina, up in the Smokey Mountains... there is a place called Deals Gap! Also known as "The Dragon's Tail"! It is a strip of road that is 11 miles long with 318 curves! It is a place where sports cars and Motorcyclists go to have FUN! Now, the catch is, that is it also a strip of road that is actually travel road. It goes from North Carolina into Tennessee! So you ALSO get behind the everyday pokey driver! What I thought was funny, was there were people pulled off along the road everywhere taking pictures of the people racing up and down the road. I too was guilty of this at one point! So, here are all the pictures, or most of them, of the road and people on it! I tried to snap as fast as I could to get most of the GOOD curves! We took the Miata up! This page has ALOT of pictures, so please give them time to load! |

It begins here, at the Deals Gap Motorcycle stop!
Although, the cars stop here too. It is a great place to get souvies!
And there is a bulletin board inside with pictures of those who have
"battle" scars from the curves!
This is the Tree O Shame! These parts are
parts that have been lost on the curves by
those UNLUCKY people who met a tree or went
off the road!
